Flower delivery to Tanvald from a local florist

Tanvald grew from a logging settlement on the left bank of the Kamenice. The settlement was first mentioned in writing in the second half of the 16th century.

The municipal office is housed in the Art Nouveau town hall, completed in 1909, on Palackého Street. The secondary school on Školní Street offers eight-year and four-year courses of study. The primary school on Sportovní Street provides education for Years 1 to 9.
